Frequently Asked Questions
Microblading is a “semi-permanent” cosmetic brow tattoo. A technique that gives crisp fine lines that resemble brow hairs. Each stroke is drawn one by one, manually or with a machine.
YES!
But, if you have oily skin and larger pores, you may not retain the micro-bladed strokes well. You will be a better candidate for a combination technique, such as Shading or Ombré powder brows.
Absolutely!
But, sometimes you might have to do the shading first and then after 6 weeks come back to do the Microblading.
Shading is done by machine and a very fine sterile needle. It can remain very soft and natural or be built up for a more intense filled in with makeup look. Shading is important because it adds more definition than microblading alone. We can add a little or a lot of shading to microblading or do a full shaded Ombré powder brow.
If you want to stop filling your brows in with makeup completely, you'll want to add some shading to your brows.
Microblading is Semi-permanent. It may last longer on some individuals than others, depending on the type of pigment also being used.

Sorry… No 🙁 because the hormones will reject the pigment. We would love to have you when you are done breastfeeding.
Yes, your brow hairs will continue to grow. You need to maintain your brows outside of the microbladed area.

Aiming for “perfection” is a result we love to get, but everyone’s skin is different and will react differently to the procedure. Some skin will heal faster than others, some skin will retain the pigment longer, and all skin is aging. Some of us will be harder on our skin than others; swimming, tanning and weather all have a negative effect on our skin. The goal is to make your brows, match as closely as possible, but nature does play a role in the contour of our brows.
Please wash your hair or take a full shower. Eat a good meal with carbs, dairy and protein. Hunger is not good while getting permanent makeup. Arrive with no makeup on your entire face. Bring your own water or smoothie. No food is allowed in the studio.
